Riverview Motel

We stayed here in June 2021. And the price was very reasonable. That was a great start. We went to visit the river and the path to the river is full of yellow wild flowers in bloom! Wow. On the way back I saw a mulberry tree by the stairs, and it is full of ripen mulberries. They are as sweet as sugarcane and the tree is full of them. Heaven on earth. We checked in with two sweetest managers and we were impressed to see our room. For the motel price our room was spic and span and our towels were as fluffy as a five star hotel. The room is a great size and has a balcony overlooking the river. It keeps getting better and better. In the evening we sat outside the balcony and since it’s warm we turned on the AC. And we got another good surprise because the balcony was slightly chilled but because the AC was going it was blowing warm air outside to warm us up on the balcony and chased away any river critters. No mosquito bites even though we hung out on the balcony at dusk and the black flow of the AC kept us warm. Ahhhh this is heaven. We love this place and the care that folks put in to keep the room spic and span, it is recommendable. We will be back !!!!!!

Loved this place! From checking in to getting our room on the 2nd floor, it was all good. Rooms were very clean, we had a great view of the river right behind us. Room had a small balcony to check out the stars at night or just sit and relax by the river. Great price, nice staff, a must stay if your traveling to or passing by Riggins, Idaho.

Nice place to rest, and enjoy the salmon river and fishing adventures.

An absolutely wonderful motel with a river view. Great service, friendly people. The rooms are clean and tidy. Would be a 5 star place if the parking was a little better, but having that might honestly ruin the character of the property. Will definitely stay again, again and again.

Very well kept room plus a fantastic view of the river and a path leading down to the river with chairs and a firepit to sit alongside it. Staff was very friendly and rooms were a great price. Highly recommended.

This was a total fluke. We were hot & tired after a long ride & were lucky enough to find this beauty. Perfect location on the river side & a brief walk into town for food & refreshments. They also have a private beach/picnic/BBQ area on the river so we donned our trunks & went for a dip. Rooms have both front & rear balconies (incredible views). Prices were low, staff were great, rooms were clean & comfortable. Lots of deer & quail roaming about in the evening. By far the best place we found on our trip.

This was a really nice find! The people are super nice and friendly and the location is fantastic. It was so nice to be able to see, hear, and even walk down to the river. The room was large and very clean. The bed was comfortable. We would stay here again.

I’m going to give it a 5 because I needed a safe, clean room at 10pm at night and the young lady in the lobby was the perfect example of customer service. Sure it’s older, but who cares. I stay at 4 and 5 star hotels all over the PNW all the time, and never get treated with the type of warmth and kindness as I did when I just stopped in and asked for a room. On a Friday night in Riggins, during the late spring, and a perfect weather day, I wasn’t expecting to have such luck. Thank you!!! I’ll be back, and next time for a few days with my family.
